We Will Always Have Paris
This photo essay is my expression of the unapologetically clichéd admiration for Paris.
How I toured Singapore for free
12 June 2018 was a historic day in international affairs. President of the United States, Donald Trump met with Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un for the first time at Singapore Summit. I happen to be in Singapore on the same day. Thanks to a long layover at Changi Airport and the United States visa in my Indian passport, I was able to take a free 2.5 hours long tour of the remarkable city-state.
A trip to the Viennese record store from film Before Sunrise
I travelled to Vienna and visited the record store in which Jesse and Celine get into the music booth and have a moment listening to the song Come Here by Kath Bloom.
The last three remaining Principalities in the World
European microstates of Andorra, Liechtenstein and Monaco are ruled by Princes, not Kings or Queens. They all are members of the United Nations but not the European Union.

I was in Puducherry but not on the Eastern Coast
When you hear Puducherry (formerly known as Pondicherry), you think of the former French colony with Promenade Beach, Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville. The Puducherry we travelled to was a place called Mahe, an outlying administrative unit of the Union Territory of Puducherry. It is an enclave of Kerala — more than 600 kilometres driving distance from the city of Puducherry on the opposite coast.
A Traveller experiencing the Vortex of Scottish Charm
Everywhere I went in Scotland; I was left charmed by the people. The feeling I had interacting with all these people was the same as the feeling I had seeing James McAvoy talk to Craig Ferguson on the old Late Late Show.
Time for Tennis to Stand up to Speed up
The sport of tennis is well liked across the world. It is a sport with truly global proportions. It is also one of the major sports with strong traditions, and little changes in its evolution. I am satisfied with the state of tennis today but I am not sure about its immediate future. In the competitive world of professional sports, I believe tennis is failing to earn a new generation of young fans who are more attracted to basketball (NBA) and mixed martial arts (UFC) these days.
World of Tennis Post COVID-19 Pandemic
Currently, it feels as if the entire world has paused. The coronavirus disease 2019 also known as COVID-19 has disrupted normal life, and the entire world is severely affected. The world of tennis is no exception to this. Until the beginning of last month, things did not seem so bad. And then all of a sudden, the whole world changed.
